FUSE flat decks are US maple laminated wood with UHMW 7 channel base. The bases are the toughest/ most durable available and can be waxed for specific snow conditions. High kicks in the nose and tail allow for big pop. Also, unique to the FUSE design, is slight pre-rise just before the main curve of the nose and tail. This lets the skate cruise over soft and uneven snow for packing out those in-runs or just plain ol' mashing around.
